Open Canvas was born from a simple idea: that art and music should be accessible, unfiltered, and alive in the places we share. In 2024, we brought that vision to life at Trillium Park with a two-day, open-to-all celebration of local talent and culture. From DJs and bands to painters, we curated a lineup that reflected the diversity of Toronto and the future of creativity.
With no ticket price or barriers to entry, the festival welcomed thousands to connect over music, art installations, and food, all set against the skyline of our city. The programming was powered by community—featuring names like BABL, Ladji, The Shirts, Andre Zimmer, and Shen—while our space design and vendor curation emphasized warmth, surprise, and a sense of place.
Open Canvas isn’t just an event, it’s a platform. It’s where first-time performers share the stage with seasoned musicians. It’s where strangers become friends, and the city becomes a little more human.
